It’s a great service from Google which works just like any other 411 service you may use just that this is free and voice controlled.
It is so innovative that you say a business name, city and state, and it gives you all the information. You can also actually say details and text message and it actually send you a text message with the address of the place you asked for. This is very useful you for instance if are looking for a location that your GPS does not have. You can easily get the address from Google 411, put in the address in your GPS, and then be on your way.

Not me! at least am hoping not. Apparently , this thing sits on your pc waiting for instructions from a hacker on what to do. Its like you send a person to travel around the world, picking up artifacts and memorabilia for you and when you are ready , you just send a text message saying come home and then, wow!, goodies!

Pretty interesting, I would say a way to kill the virus when detected would be to RE-instruct it to infect the hackers computer when the hacker tells the virus to send information to it. Watch this video , explains it all.

  5. Repeat the previous step until you get to the root level, or C:\>. Note that if your root drive is not C, the letter will be different.
  6. At C:\> type the following: net stop dnscache
  7. Press Enter. This disables the domain blocking feature of Conficker and you should now be able to reach security Web sites

I was able to install windows XP, Windows 7 (yet to be released) , as well as various Linux distributions (opensuse and Ubuntu). I did this primarily though  Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, which I must say has a lot of limitations and is not as good, compared to the rest of the other virtual software’s available out today like VMware. One thing I do like about Virtual PC is that it is free, and you know you can’t beat that!

A new concept was introduced to me also which I never gave much thought to which is about virtual servers. Although through running Linux operating systems which are offcource servers, I never really thought about the idea of utilizing virtualization in a business environment. The benefits over limitations are amazing when you put everything into perspective. Think about buying just one server equipped with standard or higher specs than usual, and then putting 5 different servers on it running though virtualization. The fact of the matter is that most of the time with people running independent servers for different applications; the servers are never thoroughly utilized. Using a virtual server enables you make more use of a single hardware. Just think about cost savings, space, easy maintenance and upgrades, what more can you ask for?

This is the second prank I am coming across today but for this one, I fell for it for about a min. Its not really my fault because it is very well possible and has been done.
Its called Artificial Intelligence (AI) and it basically consist of a BOT that uses a database of questions and responses to provide the best answer to a question. I installed one in my chat room before to observe how it works, and it actually succeeded in fooling some people that they where talking to an actual person. The one I used was called A.L.I.C.E (Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity) and you could have a very decent long conversation with her, even in different languages.

Now you know what I do with my spare time, lol, that was actually a couple of years back …….really!
